Peter Tiggelaven and Patricia Weijman of Lab20 are two childhood friends who are both creative professionals with a background in artist booking, stage management and cultural and music events. By combining professional expertise with their personal clubbing experience, Peter and Patricia are starting Culturelab, a new cultural platform where students and young professionals can enjoy music, dancing and a diverse cultural program.

From their office at Lola Lik they will manage and prepare the opening of Culturelab, which will be situated within a stone’s throw of Lola Lik. Lab20’s “Lik” will be their strong networking skills. Having their office in a diverse cultural hotspot like Lola Lik will allow Lab20 to make connections between the different tenants so that people can find inspiration in the work of others. By facilitating encounters, Lab20 will contribute to the Lola Lik network. Refugees from the nearby refugee centre are welcome to participate and meet new people, which may lead to opportunities for work, internships, hobbies or friendship.
